A Little About Us
Welcome To The
Airline Academy
Established in 1972, we have become one of the
finest aviation training facilities in the world...
...with students having attended from over 63 countries in addition to all fifty states. In 1995, customer service, flight attendant, and aircraft dispatch training were added to the curriculum to meet the continuing personnel needs of the commercial airline industry. All training is conducted at the Daytona Beach International Airport located on the Atlantic coast of Florida.
The Airline Academy Instructors have been carefully selected. They have extensive industry experience with major carriers including Delta Airlines, Piedmont Airlines & US Airways. The focus is on the students and providing the most comprehensive training available. There is no greater than a 12:1 student teacher ratio.
Our flight attendant students train at the multi-million dollar JetBlue University in Orlando, Florida. This includes a full motion simulator meeting FAR 121 standards.
Our placement team includes a current flight attendant, a former flight attendant, and a former airline recruiter. Each graduating class is afforded the opportunity to interview with various carriers upon graduation under the guidance of our staff.
The Airline Academy holds a letter of exemption from the State of Florida Board of Education because our contract training through American Airlines and JetBlue University, both FAA 121 certified air carriers.
